Uh oh.... looks like Lee Anderson has fallen foul of people who'd never vote Tory anyway. 

Now they're going to not vote Tory really hard. They're going to not vote Tory to infinity plus one. After all, according to world-famous moderate Sadiq Khan, his language was inflammatory. 

Also inflammatory: arson 

Weirdly enough though, Moderate Sadiq Khan hasn't mentioned this yet. I guess it's just part and parcel of living in a big city.... which was the exact phrase he used to describe the slaughter of innocent civilians by terrorists. 

Say, I wonder if any of the hand-wringing cucks complaining about Lee Anderson's 'clumsy' language have anything to say about that? 

I don't recommend holding your breath waiting for them to even mention it. 

That's the whole reason normal people are so stoked about what Lee Anderson said - we're just sick of being asked to believe in obvious absurdities. The people who are outraged about anyone criticising Islamism, but not people blowing up the No 52 bus are in no way moderates and what they support is in no way equality. More to the point though, a party that pretends there's something outrageous about pointing all this out  is in no meaningful sense  'conservative'. 

Courage Under No Fire Whatsoever

Good news everyone! We've finally found a way to stop leftists hijacking the (formerly) Beautiful Game to push their stupid talking points:

Never mind asking whether or not there's anything divisive about their individually loony agendas, the FA should see what happens when they get them both together to talk about the whole Transformers thing. 

I may be going out on a limb here but I'm pretty sure the whole scenario where Stevo is playing for a National League side, then changes his name to Chantelle and walks into a Woman's Super League team - let's just say that this may not be entirely controversy free. 

Then consider the flip side of all this. Sports journalists have spent years telling just how plain heroic people like Raheem Sterling are for complaining constantly about racism. We've been assured that multi-millionaire celebrities with huge endorsement deals are courageous for denouncing supposed white supremacy.

Anyone who asks what exactly prats like Sterling are risking is clearly racist. Ditto, anyone pointing out that the MSM's ranting about the supposedly bigoted nature of football fans looks mightily like class hatred hidden behind PC posturing. But now we've got an issue that takes actual courage to speak out about and suddenly..... 

Nope, Sterling hasn't gone missing this fast since the last time he played in the Champions League.

Hey, remember how people used to say that the liberals would hijack the 'Prevent' program to harass conservatives and the left said they were crazy?

Eton College reported its dismissed Master to the anti-terrorism Prevent programme for allegedly advocating male supremacy and the glorification of violence.

School chiefs dismissed Mr Knowland after he refused to take down an online lecture tackling radical feminism and the concept of 'toxic masculinity' from his personal YouTube channel. 

Who knows? Maybe they were genuinely worried that he might be plotting to....what exactly? 

Make a really sarcastic video? Include a sock puppet called 'Ms Feminazi'? Or even escalate to doing a livestream?

The contrast with the treatment of the Manchester Arena bomber is striking.

As with much else in modern life, we're being asked to accept that there are two classes of people in the world. Our speech is violence but their actual violence is treated as all but a particularly colorful rhetorical flourish. 

A system that explicitly designates a large chunk of the population as an underclass deserves no respect. Hence why I refuse to be outrageously outraged by events in Washington right now. 

The Assumption of Superiority

It's five days since the London Bridge attack - which is to say the second London Bridge attack - and the latest scores are in. So far, we've had 257 softball MSM interviews with David Merrit versus... let's see.. none whatsoever with literally any other relative of anyone killed in jihadist attacks.

I wonder what it is about the Corbynista Tory hater that attracts our unbiased broadcasters?

At least the Tories haven't cucked though (for once). Like I keep saying, the whole debate about the rehab industry is the perfect example of how the left pushes its agenda. Take the left's own attack line: if you think there's something gone badly wrong with our justice system, you're politicising the issue, you evil scumbag!

And if you think the system's just fine the way it is? Nope, that's not politicising things at all, that's just something all the smart people agree on.

Consider the sheer smug entitlement of that position. They don't want to win the debate, they want to ban it and then call everyone else names.

And that leads to the wider issue. A week ago all the smart people were telling us that Usman Khan was totes reformed, you guys. Anyone who wondered if it was really that simple was labelled a moron and a bigot. And then, as if by magic, the jihadist did some jihading, and now the left are insisting we can't talk about it.

Just last week believing that Usman Khan was now a pillar of the community was proof of the Very Special Genius of these guys. Now it turns out their theories were total garbage, but they still think they can run your life better than you can.

Truly, Fat Dave Cameron is the gift that keeps on giving: now World Famous Moderate Muslim Sayeeda Warsi is pushing the crazed Islamist-inspired definition of Islamophobia (speaking personally, I prefer the Christopher Hitchens definition 'a word created by fascists, used by cowards, to manipulate morons.')

Maybe selecting professional victims and parachuting them into safe seats or the House of Lords isn't such a good idea after all? About That Whole 'Deplatforming' Thing...

Just asking, but what percentage of people in the MSM who supported the deplatforming of nasty, old Tommy Robinson are now willing participants in 'The Shamima Begum Show'? 

Take everything Tommy Robinson has been accused of, multiply it by a hundred, and that's stuff ISIS literally did, but the MSM are interviewing this witch like she was Meryl with her latest movie:

Do you think it might be interesting to get Islington Jesus on record re: the Screw You And Stay There Act (2019)? As far as Labour's base goes, this isn't a 'wedge' issue, it's a 'chainsaw with titanium teeth' issue. It would expose perfectly how the 'Party of the Working Man' has been hijacked by a deranged alliance between degenerate metropolitan snoots and Jihadists.

But no: Labour's off the hook. It turns out that the reason why the Tories so often sound like liberals is that..... they're liberals. The Tories are still trying to terrify the public with the Corbogyman. Lest you be tempted to choose them as the lesser of two evils, here's Mark Steyn with a reminder that eight years of Conservative Prime Minsters has done nothing to deal with the most important issue of the day: the remorseless transformation of Britain into Not Britain.

 Hence, why I can't get too excited about Gerard Batten appointing Tommy Robinson as an adviser. Personally, I think it's bad politics, but on the other hand, who would be the respectable alternative to Tommy Robinson? As Mark Steyn himself has pointed out, if respectable politicians won't deal with the elephant in the room, then the public will turn to non-respectable ones.

We already have three parties hiding behind ludicrous euphemisms, like 'grooming gangs'. Meanwhile, in so far as Tommy Robinson was banged up for contempt of court, that means we've had more people jailed for reporting on jihadist rape gangs, than for actually assisting them. Police officers and social workers have destroyed evidence, buried crime reports and intimidated witnesses, without facing so much as the ghost of a charge. Turning a blind eye to outright corruption: that's what counts as 'Respectable Conservatism' these days.

You Can Say You Were There The Day 'Electability' Died

To borrow a line from the legend that is Ace, to British Tories the Earth is nothing but an infinite series of hills upon which one must not die. 

Everything is up for grabs with the Tories, all the family silver needs to be thrown overboard lest actually taking a position on anything damage da sacred electability....

....except it now turns out that 'electability' means ginning up phoney baloney scandals.

The sheer brass neck of these people! They've spent years pretending to be rock-ribbed conservatives who are desperate to push conservative polices, you guys, but they just don't think they're politically viable.  Suddenly, the cucks have the chance to try and shaft one of their enemies and all bets are off. 

They don't care about electability, they never did in any meaningful sense of the word. It was just a means to the end of throwing any actual conservatives out of the party so they can carry on treating it as a job creation scheme for vacuous Metropolitan snoots.

As I was saying, the worst thing about the Usual Suspects blaming every single problem suffered by the white working class on the supposed evils of white culture is that they would never in a million years apply the same logic to any other group.

Personally, I admire him for stating openly what is merely implied by charmers like Diane Abbot and 'Detective Dave' Lammy (when not hunting for the hidden dead bodies from Grenfell). Stripped of their standard evasions and slippery euphemisms, these people have spent years pushing the idea that  dysfunctional insanity is the true barometer of black authenticity. But don't you dare suggest that might have any negative social consequences....

The Respectable Right Is Rubbish

Tim N rightly points out that the MSM's Licensed Conservatives sure seem comfortable with Putin-like behavior, providing it's aimed at enemies of *their* state.

In fact, it's worse than that. Say what you like about him, but Vlad never claimed to be one of those touchy-feely guys. Equally, whether he's Making Russia Great Again, or just stealing it piece by piece, at least he's thinking big.

Meanwhile, media conservatives make like they're Spartans at Thermopylae, fighting to their dying breath for muh justdis, muh umanrites, muh desensee... but ditch it all in a flash when there's a chance at a crappy newspaper column with some ludicrously self-aggrandising tagline like 'Jeff Tossari: The Man Who Calls It Like It Is'.

These people genuinely think they just need another ten or so sneery articles about Tommy Robinson's past and the public will start to trust them again. They don't understand that the more they point out the skeletons in Robinson's closet, the more they're condemning themselves. No matter how bad this particular individual is, when it comes to the real issues, increasingly large numbers of the public still find *even him* more trustworthy than the Julians and Hugos in the MSM.

There no better evidence that the two Irish rugby stars accused of rape really are innocent than that the left has chosen to go after them. Look who the left doesn't protest: apparently, it's eminently possible that a thirteen year old girl would consent to group sex with middle-aged sleaze bags but not that a twenty-something would consent to sex with a couple of international athletes.

Guardians Of The Narrative

Good post by Ace here re: America's allegedly elite media and their passive aggressive attempts to push conspiracy theories. It's all good but this bit struck a chord:

Seems very strange that the Washington Consensus has known there was no "collusion" for a while now and yet so few members of the Washington Consensus stepped forward to say that skepticism about this was a perfectly reasonable attitude to take.

The MSM is now claiming to be shocked - shocked - by events in Telford. Apparently, the notoriously naive newshounds from Fleet Street were bamboozled by the fast talking big city cops from Shropshire.

The thing is though, plenty of people were reporting on what was going on, Breitbart and Katie Hopkins for two. The MSM wasn't just skeptical about these reports, they were certain that it was outrageously outrageous even to suggest such things could be happening.

They weren't just unconvinced, they were prepared to state affirmatively that anyone who claimed there was systematic sexual abuse by Islamic gangs was a nasty Nazi nutter.

Well, now we know just why people thought there might just be the slightest possibility of Islamists targeting Infidel girls, how about these guys get asked to produce the evidence they used to decide it was all a hoax?

This goes to Ace's larger point. Just as the Washington elite never quite come out and say that they think the Golden Don finishes a tough day's presidenting with a game of chess while drinking vodka and listening to Tchaikovsky, Britain's MSM never get round to saying what they think is *really* going on in places like Shropshire.

Yes, the MSM doesn't believe that there's any connection between Islam and sexual exploitation of Infidels, so what *do* they think is going on? What other possible explanation can there be for how we keep finding gangs consisting entirely of one certain religious group targeting girls from any other religion except their own? And how about these guys answer that one before they get to point and shriek when anyone next mentions the I word?

Liberals Ask Why Was No Action Taken Against No One In Particular

There is no greater barometer of the complete uselessness of Britain's Professional Conservatives than that the left has decided to blame the Woolwich attack on the Security Services for not stopping the killers.

It's as if they're so sure of their hegemonic control of the culture that they think they can push any old rubbish.

What exactly do liberals think should have been done? They've spent years as Arthur Dent lying down in front of the bulldozer, loudly insisting that this whole 'terrorism' thing is just a few high-spirited Jihad-the-Lads, everything's fine and anyone who says anything different is some kind of extremist nut.

More to the point, even while they explain that they totally would have done, like, something different, they can't even bring themselves to say who they would have done it to.

Other than that, we need to go to Standard Operating Procedure for Men of No Appearance related events, and start reading between the lines... like the BBC's reference to 'community leaders'... no doubt a reference to the Church of Christ the Delivery Guy. On the plus side, the BBC does reassure us that:

In one attack a couple pushing a pram were targeted and the baby was tossed into the air by the impact, landing several feet away. In another, the driver got out of the vehicle to club two men with a steering wheel lock at a petrol station forecourt before getting back into the van and driving off, running over two women over as he sped away.

Then again, that is from notorious right-wing rag, the Independent, so who knows? It's not like you can get a good look at a guy while he's beating two blokes senseless on a station forecourt. If only there was some way of recording what happened then playing it back at a later date...

Usual disclaimer follows: it could just a guy called David Jones, driven mad by the lousy weather, but after decades of brutal violence by members of the Men of No Appearance gang, I think we're entitled to be a little sceptical about reports of violence by 'men' (and that goes double where the MSM is trying to convince us that attacking guys with steering locks counts as a 'hit and run'). Either way, next time the MSM warns us about the threat to a free press from naughty old Brian Levenson, bear these reports in mind for an example of how the press deals with contentious issues right now.
