On a cultural note, I know Thrupp well. It's a beautiful little Cotswold village with small, tasteful inter-war houses added to an ancient Anglo-Saxon core. It's quiet, peaceful and about as safe as you can get in the UK outside the Chequers nuclear bunker.It is prosperous and decent enough to make Tolkien's 'Shire' seem like Brixton in the 1980s by comparison.
