Clash of the Cults

Victimhood poker - it gets everywhere:
Two primary schools have withdrawn storybooks about same-sex relationships after objections from Muslim parents....

The decision was made to enable the schools to "operate safely" after parents voiced their concerns at meetings.
I don't get it ? Are they saying that there's a possibility of violence or something ? I didn't think gays had it in them.

Personally, I'm kind of tempted to convert to Islam, if only the Tiny Minority of Extremists will let me into the secret of their energy levels. These guys must really cover some ground - liberals keep telling us how few of them there are, but they still turn up everywhere.

Mind you, don't expect anyone in education to be picking up the clue phone. They're clearly already past the liberal insanity event horizon:
Bristol City Council said the two schools had been using the books to ensure they complied with gay rights laws which came into force last April.

They were intended to help prevent homophobic bullying, it said.
There're words for people who concern themselves with the sexuality of five year olds, and none of them are 'professional educator'. But let's check the state of play here. Teachers think sixteen year old kids are too vulnerable to be allowed to meet with soldiers, but five year old kids get the full Brokeback Mountain deal. Ah yes!
