Apparently, the online world is a cesspit of fake news and you should only trust the verified truthiness of the MSM and their deeply fact-checked stories. Like this:

Liberal Democrat deputy leader Jo Swinson has revealed how she desperately fought off an attempted rape by a ‘nice young man’ she thought was a friend.

The former Minister only stopped the horrifying attack by shouting at him that what he was about to do was rape. Ms Swinson told The Mail on Sunday last night: ‘I was really under threat. I was physically pushing him away and saying, “I do not want to do it.” 

Sounds like we need to get this guy off the street ASAP! To the Batmobile, Robin!

But wait....

The traumatic incident happened in the late 1990s when she was a 19-year-old studying at the London School of Economics. She declined to name the attacker, who was a fellow student. 

Yep, this guy was so dangerous she decided to do absolutely nothing about him and still won't name him.

Say, does Haven Monahan have an alibi?

Ms Swinson, a former Business Minister in the Coalition Government, added: ‘He was about to do something horrendous and I managed to get him to stop. I told him, “If you make me, that’s rape.”

Alternative Interpretation: this silly cow goes back to some guy's place at 1 AM, he tries to get to first base, and she freaks out and calls him a rapist.

Which is not deranged at all.

Speaking personally, I'm thinking that if anyone dodged a bullet here, it was the guy who belatedly realised why no man should ever talk to a feminist.

They hate you simply for existing, hence why they come out with stuff like this: 

There is this view among many that this violence against women is something which is sort of the stranger leaping out of the dark alley, or a whole different series of horrible people that they wouldn’t have anything to do with.

Actually, what I took from that experience was that I could very easily see how rape could happen and the rapist could be a nice young man who would not consider that would be something he could do.

Yes, indeed, feminism is a nut shell: the complete lack of evidence that a guy is a rapist just means he's the worst type of rapist of them all, a non-raping rapist. He's clearly the kind of cunning predator who hides his evil by not committing any offenses whatsoever.

Oh, and the real reason she's suddenly remembered she was, like, kind of raped. Sort of:

The process is the punishment, and it's sometimes capital punishment:

A coroner has slammed a detective for acting as 'judge and jury' in the case of a grandfather who killed himself after being accused of historic sex abuse.

Alan Bailey was 'hounded' to his death after being accused of indecency and rape by a woman who said he had abused her when she was 15, the inquest heard last week.

Yep, we're back in 'It Could Be Yewtree' territory.

The father-of-two, who maintained his innocence and was awaiting trial, faced a campaign of intimidation by the woman's partner leaving him 'paranoid' and suicidal.

But when he complained to [UNKNOWN POLICE FORCE] investigating officer Aneela Khali-Khan, she allegedly told him to 'man up' - failing to probe the harassment he faced.

Quick! Guess what force UNKNOWN is?

Yep, it's Hillsborough PD again! They've finally found a rape case they want to investigate. I can't imagine what it was about this guy that made them so much happier to go after him than, say, Rotherham taxi drivers. But it gets better, which is to say much worse:

The evening before he was due to answer bail, Ms Khali-Khan rang to say his estranged partner wanted to move back in the house.

She told him his wife should not suffer because 'she had done no wrong'. On February 18 he was charged with a series of sex offences against the woman.

The next day he appeared at court and was granted bail until his trial. But he was forced out of his home and ended up in a hostel for drug addicts and the homeless.

I guess the Tori Cuzt aren't that bad if they're free to spend time harassing a guy who's never been convicted of anything out of his own home.

But his alleged victim's partner started turning up at the store and then driving slowly past Mr Bailey's flat, on one occasion with the woman in his car.

He reported four incidents of harassment, but no officers visited him. He became increasingly 'jittery' and 'tearful' fearing he would be re-arrested for breaching his bail, though he had done nothing wrong.

Take note: stalking cases like this are *literally* why we have legislation covering harassment, not 'people saying mean stuff on twitter'. It's also what the police should be dealing with, instead of throwing men out of their home.

Ms Khali-Khan, who joined South Yorkshire Police in 2003, was a detective constable at the time with two years' experience in the criminal investigation department.

Last year she was promoted to Acting Detective Inspector. She confirmed ringing Mr Bailey to mediate between him and his wife over who should be living at the home.

At which point Mrs Merton would ask what it was about Ms Khali-Khan that first attracted the Promotion Board?

It's clearly not her talent for police work:

Dr Hunter asked the officer: 'You said his wife had 'done no wrong'. What wrong, at that point, had Mr Bailey done? He had none. You assumed he was guilty?'

Ms Khali-Khan, who had no record of the phone call, replied: 'I would not have assumed that.'

It works just like that in the real world, too. Take HMRC for example:

"We have reason to believe you have failed to declare income from a second job."

"I have no record of that."

"OK, fair enough, off you go then."

Yeah, right! Plus bear in mind that plumbers, say, aren't trained in bookkeeping and it's unpaid work on top of their real job. Neither of those two things applies to police officers and recording investigations. In fact, there's seems to be a pattern forming:

Mr Bailey's other daughter Angela Bailey said after her father reported the other man driving past his house on April 22, Ms Khali-Khan rang him and told him to 'Man up'.

The coroner asked the officer about the phone call. She said they had a 'lengthy conversation', but her notes ran to just seven lines.

She could not remember Mr Bailey saying he was scared for his safety or that she told him 'no law had been broken'.

Again: Acting Detective Inspector and, oh, that second job!

Dr Hunter asked why she had not fully investigated the intimidation or a possible case of perverting the course of justice that could have affected legal proceedings.

'You did not take him seriously, you dismissed him,' he told the officer. 'I put it to you that you had already acted as judge and jury and had already formed an opinion about Mr Bailey's guilt.'

Dr Hunter is now a member of Britain's fastest growing club: the 'National Association of People With More Balls Than Tory MPs'.

He added: 'I feel Mr Bailey would have been better served by the Keystone Cops as opposed to South Yorkshire Police.

Yes, the Keystone Cops dealt with bank robberies, not people suddenly remembering they'd been robbed thirty years ago. Here's the key bit:

Dr Hunter accepted South Yorkshire Police's practices have improved significantly since 2010, but said he would be referring the force to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (formerly the IPCC) over the actions of officer Khalil-Khan.

He described her investigation as 'incompetent' and said there were 'serious questions about her conduct and probity that needed to be addressed'. She also 'missed opportunities' to deal with the intimidation.

Dr Hunter also referred the force over their handling of the family's complaint after Mr Bailey's death. He questioned their internal investigation and said his daughters received 'platitudes and a whitewash'.

'Daughters' you say? Well, that settles it! Women don't lie about allegations of crime.

See, this is the point. An allegation of a 'historic' sex crime is enough to destroy a man's life, but when we have complaints made by the deceased and his family *at the time* combined with a suspect who's records are dodgier than the clocks at Honest Joe's Car Emporium, suddenly it turns out that you can't trust chicks.

In fact, it's worse than that. The unsupported testimony of Ms Loony-Pants was enough to threaten a man's liberty and have his reputation destroyed, but we're not even allowed to question whether someone who - based on her own testimony - is incapable of basic record keeping should really be employed as a police officer, let alone promoted.

To return to a point above: if the Tory Party really wants to be relevant again, they should ditch the constant rebrands and focus groups and just go after the thugs in blue who destroy lives at the drop of a hat, then skate on technicalities when they're under fire.

It's Science (For Some Values Of Science)

Showing exactly the kind of savvy political judgement that secured their massive landslide in 2017, the Tory Party is staying well clear of the John Worboys fiasco. I'm guessing their computer models of the electorate warned them to avoid alienating the key 'serial rapist' demographic.

Meanwhile, in the real world, this case is reinforcing everything we ever suspected about the rehab industry. Consider for instance their strange definition of 'independent expert'.

Personally, I’m just shocked – shocked – to find that an ‘independent expert’ producing reports for the Parole Board turns out to a True Believer in the Cult of Rehab... and she’d have gotten away with it too if it weren’t for you meddling kids reading the stuff she’s published openly for years!

As Britain's most brilliant blogger once said, the rehab industry is the Rosetta Stone for understanding how the left gets away with it. For years the left has tried to claim that if you oppose the rehab industry then you, sir, hate The Science. Now it turns out that these scientists sound a heck of a lot like a Guardian editorial.

Hey, can we at least get some ground rules so we can tell when they're being scientists and when they're being activists? Maybe something like lab coat on equals expert, lab coat off equals campaigner?

The Difference Between Barnes Wallis And Disney

When Barnes Wallis made a bomb, at least it bounced. Disney: not so much. 

Yes, $464 million is serious money - although that's the gross and it has to be compared to the $4.2 billion they paid for the rights in the first place - but under performance of $187 million is a lot to pay for virtue signalling. Assuming a similar percentage drop off in DVD sales and merchandising, it looks like Disney have just paid a self-inflicted SJW tax of $200 million, or enough to make a whole other movie.

All of which is by way of saying that when the Smart Set tell us that 'people' are too sophisticated to want the supposedly simplistic narratives of the original Star Wars trilogy, they actually mean a very specific sub-set of people, namely themselves. 

Meanwhile, normal people just want to see a decent movie, same as they ever did. Hence why one of the few non-disastrous DC movies was helmed by a woman who explicitly rejected the kind of smirking cynicism exemplified by 'The Last Jedi'.

The point is not only that movie journalists turned out to be hideously out of touch with the public, but in so far as politics is downstream of culture, the implosion of Star Wars might shed some light on another failing franchise, namely the Tory Party.

Just like 'The Last Jedi', the Tory Party has embraced empty virtue signalling combined with a sneering attitude to actual virtue and it's having about as much success in terms of garnering support from normal people. It turns out that, MSM to the contrary,  the jaded hipster demographic isn't actually a barometer of where the country is going after all. 

The MSM: Speaking Truth From Power

It's not 'technology' or 'unfair competition from fake news' that's killing the MSM. If you want to know the real reason why the MSM is dying, consider the latest scores for 'The Last Jedi' on Rotten Tomatoes:

Naturally, such a huge chasm between the MSM's collective opinion and actual, normal people has caused a lot of soul-searching amongst the folks in the media who like to claim they're the voice of the people.

There is no better proof of the bogus nature of the left's anti-establishment posturing than that we now have the MSM circling the wagons round a huge corporation. Apparently, these comments are outrageously outrageous but the only people the MSM can find to denounce them have never been elected dog catcher. Meanwhile, people with the need for actual votes are strangely unavailable for comment.

That's why this is important. Obviously, a policy of killing the fox before it gets in the hen house is the right thing to do, and also a certain vote winner, but it also exposes the central myth of cuckservatism. We're told that professional conservatives have to pander to freaks like Shameless Shami for the sake of electability but when a conservative finally tells these people to shove it, Labour MPs suddenly remember they've left the gas on at home. The extreme position turns out to be the one that no one who wants to be elected will argue against.

The MSM is outrageously outraged that President Trump retweeted a 'far right group's videos'- which turned out not to be a 'far right group's videos' in the sense of anyone on the far right making a video, but instead that a member of the far right pointed out other people's videos of things that have happened. Or, as we Earthlings call it, 'reporting'.

Literally, that's it. The (mostly mythical) 'far right' - and by extrapolation the President - are being accused by the MSM of passing on footage of stuff that actually happened. Let that sink in.

What does that say about the world view of the modern journalist? They're so deep in the tank that they can't even see that they're admitting they believe in censoring stories that don't support the narrative. Hence why we have absurd circumlocutions like this:

A spokesperson from the Dutch Public Prosecution Service told the BBC that the person arrested for the attaack "was born and raised in the Netherlands" and was not a migrant, as claimed in the social media post.

So does this 'person' have a name? And was he 'born and raised in the Netherlands' like the 7/7 bombers were born and raised in Britain? More to the point, note that the same MSM that is fascinated about where the President's tweets come from has no interest in reporting on the background of a violent thug. They're not speaking truth to power, they're speaking truth from power. Now shut up and drink the kool aid!

The Rehab Industry Has A Titanic Moment

Actually, that's unfair. The Titanic only hit the one iceberg, but John Venables is the gift that keeps on giving. Also: offending.

Lest we forget, this case was meant to be the flagship of the rehab industry. Hence the blank cheque:

The killer's new identity is protected by a lifelong anonymity order and has been changed four times since his release in 2001, costing taxpayers £250,000 each time, and around £5million in total has been spent trying to rehabilitate him.

Also worth noting: this guy was specifically released early so he wouldn't have to face the trauma of an adult jail. It would have set back his progress, apparently, and so he would never have become the model citizen he is today. Not only did no one in the rehab industry blow the whistle, they actually came out with stuff like this:

In fact, a report by famed psychiatrist Sir Michael Rutter release said Venables posed a 'trivial risk' to the public should he be released.

Don't send that guy to buy your lottery ticket!

Apparently, the rehab industry is based on science, just not the type of science that produces actual, reproducible results. See, this is why taking on the rehab industry is a key issue for the right. Not only because it's the right thing to do - though it is - or because it's a winning issue politically - though that's true too - it's because it's the Rosetta Stone of the left.

The fact that every time normal people get to peek behind the curtain of the rehab industry we see something that looks like Scientology, but without Tom Cruise or the high moral standards, isn't a problem for the left, it's the whole attraction. It just proves that only the truly sophisticated can understand the genius inherent in a toxic mess of Marxism, new age psychobabble and outright fraud. 

To borrow a line from Douglas Adams, for modern leftists supporting the rehab industry is an opinion held by all right-thinking people, who are largely recognizable as being right-thinking because they support the rehab industry. People who think Jean Piaget was a painter nevertheless are quite certain that the rehab industry is based on solid science. No, they can't actually explain how rehabilitation is meant to work or what techniques are used, but they're sure that anyone who says things like 'you can't rewire evil' is clearly some kind of dummy dumb-dumb low-life who probably voted leave. 

A vote of thanks too for the libertarian movement.  The State Is Not Your Friend... except if it wants  to move the Sunderland Slayer in next door to a young family, in which case a blank cheque and a complete lack of transparency is A-OK with these Neo wannabees.

Social Justice Vs Real Justice: Choose One

Sussex Police do not investigate such cases of fraud unless they class the victim as vulnerable.

Instead, they refer them to Action Fraud, which happened in this incident. 

Wait, what?  I mean, I know these guys are well paid, but I'm not sure Joe Public exactly considers robbing £32,000 to be petty crime

But let's cut them some slack. There's them there Tori Cutz! Plus the Internet is the Wild West de nos jours. How can we expect law enforcement to pour resources down the black hole of the online world?

Yep, plenty of resources to track down anyone who says 'Jehovah' apparently. It's not the cuts, they've made a choice to prioritise waging culture war over dullsville crimes with actual victims.

But I know what you're thinking! What if someone stole £32,000 off someone and called them a fag? Would they investigate then?

The answer's yes, but not if the victim's conservative. Ask Milo Yiannopoulos or Anne Marie Waters for proof of that.

The problem with all this is not just that replacing Dixon of Dock Green with Doxon of Dick Dream means there's no one left to do actual policing, or even that it allows girly hysterics like PC Princess to persecute the non-insane. The problem is that once any organisation has been fully captured by SJWs, the actual business of that organisation becomes a distant second to the need to push their own loony views.

POLICE knew that Robert Trigg had been present when two of his girlfriends mysteriously died in their sleep. At least two Sussex Police officers dealt with the deaths of both Caroline Devlin on 2006 and Susan Nicholson in 2011 but he was not suspected of killing the women for another five years, Lewes Crown Court heard.

Hey, who knows? He might be a criminal genius and a superb actor. I'm sure the police have nothing to hide...

Trigg’s trial over the two women’s deaths heard police investigators’ notebooks were no longer available and a video of Trigg’s first interview with police had also gone missing.

'Missing' in the normal people sense, or 'missing' in the Hillsborough sense? Actually, which would be worse? Absent corruption, we're dealing with a police service that can't manage to file things properly even when there's a suspicious death involved.

That's what happens when the SJWs take over. The requirement to believe the obviously ludicrous - like, say, that stealing £32,000 is petty crime but calling people 'fags' is super serious - is demoralising in both senses of the word. Who has the time to do real work when they have to keep up with the ever-changing list of things that must be either hysterically denounced, or fanatically defended? And so previously sane organisations start to resemble cults, complete with heretics, saints and martyrs.

Rubbing Our Noses In It

Nope, despite all reasonable suspicions to the contrary, the police haven't lost the plot. They know exactly what they're doing. They're doing the same thing as the bully in the old Charles Atlas adverts did,  kicking sand into the face of the public, or at least the conservative part of it.

The fact that the police feel free to demonstrate their contempt for half the country is a big deal, and all the more so when we have a nominally-conservative government. Who cares who's in Number 10 if every time you have to deal with actual public servants, they're a bunch of Milli Tant loons? To quote the great Mark Steyn, who needs a President For Life when you have a Bureaucracy For Life?

Equally, though, consider the position of the Amber Rudd wing of the Tory Party. These people - supposedly the smart ones - assure us that the conservative party can't do anything to drain the swamp. They claim the whole 'culture war' thing is very 80s and now conservatives just have to go along to get along...and that's how they romped to a landslide election win against Hobo Stalin!

Meanwhile, is there anyone who works more than five miles from Westminister who doesn't think kicking PC Nailpolish back out onto the streets would be a vote winner? To put it the other way: who exactly is this guy who is going to vote Tory but only as long as they make cops walk round in high heels? Someone track this guy down!

'Troll' Means Nothing

At this point, surely everyone on the right now knows that a troll is just someone winning an argument with a liberal. This is why when the MSM reports a trolling atrocity story they never quite get round to covering what it is today's baby seal said to draw fire in the first place.

Consider this latest example. Nope, she wasn't 'asserting the ethnic diversity of Roman Britain', she was supporting the open borders obsessed BBC's ludicrous attempts to rewrite history by claiming that the father of a 'typical family' in Roman Britain would be black (as summerised in this YouTube video).

Now you see what the MSM is so reluctant to tell what she actually said! It doesn't get any better on closer inspection. Her evidence for Roman Britain looking like Brixton was that there was a Roman Governor who was born in Algeria. That's her 'typical family' - the Emperor's representative in Britain. That's like claiming the Pope is a typical Catholic priest, and never mind that Algerians aren't now, and certainly weren't then, black, or that, by the same reasoning, Cliff Richard, Rudyard Kipling, Joanne Lumley and thousands of other children of the Raj would be 'typical Indians'.

And then there's the point Nassim Nicholas Taleb made. As befits a genuine genius (rather than a phoney-baloney beneficiary of the left's Witless Protection Program), he asked the key question: if Roman Britons really did look like the cast of Zulu, what happened to the descendants of all these people? No matter what happened in the intervening period, there should be some trace of their DNA in Britain, and there just isn't.

This isn't a matter for debate. With the state of modern DNA science, you may as well claim that fossils are just random rock formations, but the same liberals who sneer at creationists, will seriously claim that mass mutation has somehow robbed millions of Britons of their ancestral DNA (and, what's more, somehow substituted it with that of other ethnic groups).

If anyone is a troll, it would be the fraudy-pants wacademic unleashing a mob of liberal lackwits on anyone who questions her junk history... especially when even the BBC has started to back away from its ludicrous claims.

Good news everyone! The police have finally found a guy on Twitter they *don't* want to arrest. Apparently, sanity is slowly returning to British policing... unless there's something I'm missing?

Lest we forget, just three months ago, in the self-same force area,  there was this. Satirising a terrorist - who was apparently 'not a real Muslim' anyway - gets you the Apocalypse Now treatment, while frank support for racist violence is just a mild eccentricity, apparently.

I know what you're thinking: what if you wanted to split the difference and sing a song making fun of the rioters? Forget it: SJWs will let people try and gin up a riot with deranged conspiracy theories about police death squads, but they'll move like a shot to silence their critics.

They don't want equality, they want a new class system.

It's Different When They Do It

The BBC is still struggling with the blowback after revelations over a so-called ‘gender pay gap’ in its wage structure. Personally, I think they’ve been harshly treated: whatever the difference in men & women’s earnings, at least pay rates were equal across the other 47 genders, so you know…

But this does raise the deeper point: the BBC has spent years claiming that any difference in pay or conditions between men and women, or black and white for that matter, can only be the result of bigotry, and furthermore anyone who disagrees is a huge Bigoty McBigot. Hence, why even rinky-dink little firms in Nowhereshire trying to recruit a night watchman need to put in a place a bloated formal process to prove their innocence, just in case some treasure hunting weasel trys it on.

Meanwhile, it turns out that liberals are recruiting each other for top jobs over lunch at the Groucho Club, more or less, and that’s just the way it is. Take Gary Lineker: he’s given the thick end of £2 million a year but they can’t tell you who else was considered for the job, who decided to hire him or what performance metrics he needs to achieve to get his contract renewed.

No wonder liberals are obsessed with the idea that the country is full of old school tie wearing Ruperts and Sebastians giving each other top jobs. Like the Third Law says, liberals always project.

Hey, I'd be more sympathetic, but the clue is in the question: if MPs can be victimised with impunity, what does that say about how less well-connected people on the right are likely to be treated by law enforcement, or the likely career prospects of openly conservative police officers?

It's the same in the rest of the public sector. As it happens, there are 316 Conservative MPs right now, so that's about 300 more than there are conservative professors in the whole of academia. How about schools? Even the Guardian (!) is worried they're too much of a monoculture. And so on.

Enough with the sob sister stuff, what do they want to do to actually drain the swamp?

Ah yes, that is the root of the problem. If Theresa May is known for anything at all - aside from blowing dead cert elections - it's her stupid 'nasty party' speech in which she threw the conservative base under the bus, parroting every libel the left has ever come up with against grass roots conservatives. The Nu Tories have spent years giving a winking, smirking endorsement to violence against supposed right-wing extremists. I mean, they're Literally Hitler anyway, right?

All that's changed now is that the chickens have come home to roost. The Tories forget the one iron rule of politics: a Nazi is just a conservative winning an argument with a liberal.

The Mighty Ann Coulter reports on last Friday's shootings in a New York hospital and you'll be shocked to hear just why the MSM told us more about the gun used than the actual killer.

Of course, when I say 'shocked' I mean for certain values of 'shocked', obviously. Clue Number Two was the absence of pretentious MSM think pieces about what these shootings say about Trump's America. Or, indeed, any reporting at all after the first six hours.

You need to read Ann to find out what's really going on:

There are mental illness shootings, gangland shootings, still-angry-about-the-divorce shootings and so on. Some immigrant murderers are mentally ill or criminals -- thanks to our excellent and extremely rigorous vetting system! But there are enough like Mr. Obotetukudo to qualify as their own category: the Disappointed Immigrant mass shootings.

The usual elements are: 1) immigrants from wildly different cultures, who have 2) unrealistic expectations about what their lives should be like in the U.S., combined with 3) an inability to achieve success in the U.S., and 4) a failure to grasp our customs -- often, even our language, typically marked by 5) a particular rage at women.

The same way girls from the Midwest come to New York City expecting to live like Carrie Bradshaw in "Sex and the City" (she was paying $700 a month for a $2,700 per month apartment, plus $40,000 on shoes), some immigrants seem to expect their lives in the U.S. to be like something out of "Dynasty."

And if all that is starting to sound a little familiar, here's the next line:

Bello, for example, declared bankruptcy in 2000 -- from one of the priciest towns in the world, Santa Barbara, California.

Zut alors! An entitled immigrant who believes it's his right to live in some of the world's priciest property, despite being completely incapable of paying for it himself? Who'd believe such a thing?

Expect the BBC to run a sob sister documentary on this guy in the next few months. 

Meanwhile, closer to home, the left has been so convinced that the Grenfell residents are the baby seals to end all baby seals, that they've lost all contact with reality. The left has managed to throw away any political capital they might have gained by filling the airwaves 24/7 with illegal immigrants raging in broken English about how angry they are that they might have to move to Camden or Hackney.

Or maybe that was his successor, Henry VII?

Who knows? Not Dave, that's for sure! But you should totally trust him when he talks about burning times, flashover points and other things he saw on CSI Miami. 

Still, that leaves open the wider point: Dave's meta conspiracy theory, his Protocols of the Learned Elders of the Tory Party, as it were, is that the Government is lying about the death toll to prevent a riot.

Never mind the absurdity of the charge, just think about the humbuggery of it. The left just got through claiming that you're not allowed to say our border security does a worse job than David Lammy's history teacher, otherwise you might make someone run over Muslims a year later, but now they're claiming to be outrageously outraged that the Government is supposedly withholding information to try and avoid a riot.

Hey, there's nothing theoretical about mob violence around Grenfell, but the same people who create Kennedy Assassination theories to explain why Nigel Farage should never be allowed to speak in public again are suddenly reborn as flinty crusaders for the public's right to know, and damn the torpedoes!

Apparently, Nigel Farage, Katie Hopkins and the Daily Mail are all responsible for some tool going crazy with his van, but the Guardian is just practicing responsible journalism when it comes out with stuff like this:

The family of a man who died following his arrest in London last week have demanded answers after the police watchdog said a postmortem contradicted their claim that he suffered a series of severe injuries.

So the evidence proves that they're lying liars, who lied, but the Guardian still makes them out to be concerned seekers after justice?

It's not even as if the left can claim not to understand the implications of what they're doing:

The watchdog said it was releasing those details because it was concerned about the “rapid spread of false and potentially inflammatory information” online about Da Costa’s condition.

I'd say we passed 'potentially inflammatory' sometime ago....

Then again, you can't say there isn't an element of poetic justice here: while the Guardian is trying to whip up an anti-police mob with phony baloney atrocity stories, the Filth themselves know who the real enemy is: losers on Facebook.

I'm sensing a real frustration amongst Respectable Conservatives right about now. They're wondering how Jeremy Corbyn can still be in the race with all his baggage. If you are one of those guys, I have some good news: I can show you how to find one of the guilty parties right now. Just go into your bathroom and look at the mirror. There he is!

They're wondering how people can vote for an out and proud Marxist. Well, why not? What does the average person know about the Holodomor, the Great Leap Forward or the Year Zero? Nada. Not only have Respectable Conservatives allowed the left to whitewash their role in 100 million deaths, some of them have even tried to score extra Respectable points by joining the left in dismissing critics of Marxism as a bunch of paranoid hicks stuck in 1985.

Ditto, on terrorism. Yes, Corbyn's record has been despicable, but the Tories aren't much better. Apparently, Labour wants to hire 20,000 police officers to track down people who appear on national TV talking about jihad. But what can the Tories really say? We've had three terror attacks one after the other, all involving 'known wolves', but the police know who the real enemy are.

Respectable Conservatives are shocked that a guy who clearly hates Britain could be elected PM, but they've been as guilty as anyone in creating a culture where joining a hostile foreign army is just an alternative lifestyle choice. Say what you like about Corbyn, he only supports ISIS, he didn't actually join them. Meanwhile, actual ISIS members are welcomed back into the country and given directions to the 'all you can eat' welfare buffet.

To the point: being a Professional Conservative must be the best paid job in the world, at least in terms of the hourly rate. These guys are in hibernation most of the time, then they wake up each election campaign and complain that they have trouble making headway in a culture that the left spends 365 days a year poisoning.

Throwing Acid In The Public's Face

Yes, they do hate us, and have done so for a long time.

It goes back at least as far as the 1987 general election, when Neil Kinnock whined that you couldn't tell a working man earning good money, with his own house, a new car and a villa in Spain 'Brother, let me take you out of your misery'.

The left  love the downtrodden masses providing they stay trodden down. Once they start making a bit of money and getting ideas above their station all bets are off. Consider the reaction to Brexit for final proof of that.

You can't even put it down to self-interest or snobbery. It's something much more primal than that. For the left not only is the personal always political, but vice versa too. Never mind Clement Attlee or Nye Bevan, the perfect poster boy for the modern left is Elliot Rogers.

Too far fetched? Consider the left's response to Rotherham. Here are a group of people who've spent years producing saccharine drivel about life oop North, while also giving house room to feminazis ranting about how rape culture is, like, everywhere, sista. But as soon as they ran into an actual rape culture, on the loose in Brassed Off territory....

Suddenly, it turned out rape wasn't about power after all. Feminists all but queued up to explain how the victims were practically asking for it, the sluts. Large parts of the left seemed to positively relish the idea of young girls being sexually tortured and humiliated. Their reaction was like nothing so much as a frustrated stalker enjoying the suffering of the woman who rejected him.  

See, we were meant to be together, them as ruler, us as the ruled. They could have been so good for us, but us people, us whores, had to go off with those Tory bad boys, with their fancy 'home ownership' and 'personal responsibility'. Well, they're going to teach us a lesson alright, THEY'RE NOT GOING TO BE IGNORED.

The open borders lobby is a bunch of losers throwing acid in the public's face by proxy - sometimes literally.

Nonce In A Lifetime!

It's finally happened: after years of the 'Respectable Right' penning 7,000 words articles about how they, like, totally deplore paedophiles (but they don't support taking any action whatsoever against actual predators), they've finally found the one case that does call for the bombers to be launched. In fact, it's so serious even the left has decided that it's time to give war a chance.

Our respectable brethren are enraged that Milo Yiannopoulos was able to abduct and murder a series of teenage runaways...

No, wait: that's not right. It's even worse than that - brace yourself, grandma - he's accused of saying pro-paedophile things across a series of interviews.

Which is clue number one right there. The usual suspects are back to the 'ransom note' method, as in daisy chaining a number of different quotes from different interviews together to try and prove the target is an extreme extremist, just like making a ransom note by cutting letters out of the newspaper. All that need be said about that technique is that if this cut and paste method is so fair, these guys won't mind if we apply it to real paedophiles in court, right? Talking of which, it looks like the rule now is that we can parse out the meaning of every statement ever made by a comedian/journalist, but we have to take Supreme Court decisions at face value, or you hate the rule of law.

Then again, close up analysis doesn't really help the case against Milo. As far as I can see, right now, there are two main issues, and they're both stupid. First up, Milo is accused of trivialising child abuse in the way he talks about his *own* molestation.

 Think about that. That's how arrogant these people are: they want to tell a victim of sexual abuse how he's allowed to feel about it (Meanwhile, suggesting women shouldn't get wasted then walk alone through the town center at 4 AM is victim blaming, you pig)!

The other, slightly less stupid, charge is that he sorta of, kind of, suggested the age of consent should be lowered, even though he clearly said it was 'about right'. It all depends how you interpret quotes like this:

The positive nature of some child-adult sexual relationships is not confined to non-Western cultures. Several of my friends – gay and straight, male and female – had sex with adults from the ages of nine to 13. None feel they were abused. All say it was their conscious choice and gave them great joy. No, wait: that was actually alleged National Treasure Peter Tatchell who said that, and a lot more besides. Tatchell has come out with this sort of thing for years, and in cold blood too, in actual, written articles, not while pushing an edgy personae on someone's live stream. He's campaigned for it too, just like Harriet Harman, Patricia Hewitt and Jack Dromney, actual MPs with real power, and luvvie favorite campaign group Liberty too. 

Hmmmmmm... you know, you could ask if any of this gave as much aid and comfort to the predators as Milo did with his jokes about his own molestation?

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that all of the above cases will turn out to be completely different, you lager-sodden, tabloid reading piece of trash. You just don't get the nuance, you stupid prole.

See, that's the thing. They think this is a win for them. They think we're too stupid to see what's going on. The same views can be either outrageous or courageous depending on who holds them.  This double standard between insiders and real people is exactly why the real right exists.

The Cringe Is Over

The best thing about Brexit & Trump is that it has deprived the left of their favourite weapon: the argument that liberalism is the default setting of modern life and only a few cray-cray extremists could possibly be against it. Now, for the first time in years, the left is having to make actual arguments, and it's going about as well as you'd expect. Consider Exhibit A: Red Princess Lilly Allen.

Incidentally, the comparison to royalty is exactly right. Lilly is the daughter of alt comedy luvvie Keith Allen, step daughter of Harry Enfield, and mum's a film producer. Add in the fancy private education and she makes Prince Harry look like a self-made man.

All of which is by way of saying that as easy as it is to mock silly Lilly and friends, we should never forget that the supposed Super Genii in the 'Respectable Right' have spent years telling us that we need to go along to get along with these fools. Allegedly brilliant policy wonks sneered at the bumpkins in the conservative base, telling us we needed to get with the program and triangulate away our principles. Now it turns out that globalisation is inevitable except when it isn't. The Ford driving morons in the suburbs were right and the smart set were wrong. About everything.

As ever, I ask: just what definition of 'genius' are we using here?

If It Wasn't For Double Standards, Liberals Would Have No Standards At All...

The Guardian carries an article from a liberal sulking about Milo's massive one.

I mean his advance, you weirdos.

They want to give his publisher the whole 'nice company you got 'ere, be a shame if something 'appened to it' treatment, but they seem kind of vague on who exactly Milo is:

Yes, if there's one thing Milo stands for, it's opposition to flaming homos. At this point, you can't help but feel a strange respect for the honesty of celebrity weirdo Perez Hilton who filed his story about Milo under the label 'icky icky poo'. At least he didn't even pretend to have a point (other than 'I hate the right'). Meanwhile, the left's Brains Trust has to resort to arguments like this:

Why? Because rhetoric like his – which targets racial, religious and cultural minorities – invites discrimination. It arguably encourages people such as Omar Mateen and Dylann Roof to think of entire groups of people as less than human.

Yes, indeed. The right must be silenced otherwise they might encourage somebody, somewhere to do something at some point in the future. Just on first principles, it seems a little broad.... even if you don't think that some other book might have been a little more directly involved in motivating Omar Mateen to shoot up a gay club. But the humbuggery is even more blatant than that.

On the very same day as the Milo post, the Guardian ran with a softball interview with the father of the left's latest baby seal, Mohammed Yaqub.

Yep, this guy.  Needless to say, very little of the Mail's background material makes it in to the interview. Instead we get stuff like this:

The grieving father of a man who was fatally shot by police in West Yorkshire has said his family are heartbroken and questioned whether armed officers planned to “assassinate” his son.

So for those of you keeping score at home, calling Leslie Jones 'barely literate' and Melissa McCarthy 'fat' and 'ugly' - also known in Saneville as 'reporting stuff' - is inflammatory, but pushing insane conspiracy theories gets you the soft soap treatment at the Guardian.

It's not like they distance themselves from this nutcase either. Au contrair, they refer to him as 'a well-known and respected businessman' even after he's given up on all but the most perfunctory attempt at plausible deniability thing:

He said: “Look at the case in London, [Mark] Duggan – look how many protests they had to take to get answers. If it’s a peaceful protest there’s nothing wrong with that, as long as it’s peaceful.”

Except they weren't peaceful then and aren't now, so y'know... it turns out that the same paper that wants to prevent the right from writing about terrible movies on the grounds that their reviews may provoke mass murder has no problem giving house room to deranged conspiracy theories and barely disguised calls for mob violence.

The thing is that while folks were still trying to work out if Hugo had ever really met any PUAs, or even any women, this happened.

They claim it's all about the economics. People are just hacked off with stagnant wages, ever-worsening conditions and rampant job insecurity.

What a relief, huh? It turns out the left just hasn't been leftist enough. No need for to look critically at the rest of the left's agenda, they just need more taxes and regulation.

Meanwhile, in the real world, people are turning away from the left because of stuff like this. How warped is this story? Let us count the ways:

1. Life sentence appears to work on dog years

2. Murderous loon gets fast-tracked into social housing ('yes we know you've killed people too, Steve, but you were in Helmand at the time so it don't count')

3. Government keeps people in the dark about having the Mad Axeman living next door

4. Government then refuses to listen to any complaints about said Mad Axeman

5. Once the Government can no longer find a carpet big enough to hide this case under, they issue a blandsville statement, then carry on regardless. No job insecurity in the public sector!

 That's what people are enraged about. We're living in a Bizarro World where the State harasses ordinary people in ways beyond the imagination of East Germany while letting actual nutcases run riot, sure that whatever happens, they will never face any actual consequences.

With psychology papers replicating less than 40%, dietary advice reversing after 30 years of fatphobia, macroeconomic analysis working worse than astrology, the appointment of Bernanke who was less than clueless of the risks, and pharmaceutical trials replicating at best only 1/3 of the time, people are perfectly entitled to rely on their own ancestral instinct and listen to their grandmothers (or Montaigne and such filtered classical knowledge) with a better track record than these policymaking goons.

It's all good but the key point is track record. The thing with our elite is that most of them don't seem to have ever actually done anything especially elite. Their qualification for elite status is based on a tautology: they're elite because they're the type of person who's in the elite, and if you don't buy that, well, it just proves you're too stoopid to understand anyway.

Needless to say, even these guys don't find their arguments all that convincing. Hence their constant desire to run down people with actual skills. Take the obsession with pushing ludicrous allegations of war crimes. This makes way more sense once you realise it's all down to our elites's jealousy and fear of people who really have been tested under maximum conditions, and in service of their country too.

Similarly, this is where the whole 'skin in the game' thing comes in. The point is not just that the elite are free to indulge in ludicrous virtue signalling, knowing full well they'll never have to deal with the consequences, it's that they very lunacy of their ideas is part of the attraction. They're advertising the fact that no matter how bad things get, it won't affect them. It's a subtle form of status signalling.

Confirmed: Nicky Morgan Is None Too Sharp

As further evidence of my theory that 50% of the attraction of liberalism is allowing idiots to pretend to be super smart, consider this from the Guardian's profile of Dan Han (spoiler: they claim he's like, totally, a weirdo):

Actually, it is an interesting philosophical question: is our former Very Special Education Minister stupid enough not to see that, or is she just stupid enough to think this is a brilliant rhetorical point: no one actually used the precise phrase 'Parliamentary Supremacy' so clearly there's some Very Secret Dark Agenda at play here?

If our alleged elite want to know why they lost the Referendum, they don't need paranoid profiles about evil geniuses, they just need to consider the sheer absurdity of Nicky Moran sneering at anyone else as a member of the unenlightened masses.

Clearly, They Need A Professional Audience

Further to my earlier point re: the inevitable decline of feminism, it looks like even some of the coven's top hags are, frankly, getting rather fed up with the refusal of their fellow wimminz to shut their stupid ho mouths and get a damn good liberatin'. 

Also jurors – in particular female ones – do not want to face the fact that those who commit rape include a broad cross section of men, and rarely fit the stereotype of a masked madman leaping out of a bush.

Yes, indeed: the lunatic fringe 91% are out of step with the mainstream. Hence the desire to switch from a 'jury of your peers' to a jury of, well, fellow fanatics, actually.

Call me suspicious, but I'm not sure I'd trust Julie Bindel with deciding whether or not men deserve to be jailed...

But it turns out though that it's not just the jury pool where the New Girl Order is having recruitment problems. In the world of pop culture, it turns out that they came, they saw.... they got their ass kicked, actually.

The newly released superhero (or supervillain, to be precise) movie Suicide Squad has already outgrossed the feminist-friendly remake of Ghostbusters in its first weekend, despite Ghostbusters now being released almost a month ago.

Turns out the only people who got any payback were the investors.

And it gets even better:

Despite allegations of sexism, the film performed exceptionally well amongst women. As The Hollywood Reporter reveals: “The biggest surprise in terms of audience makeup was the strong turnout among females, who made up 46 percent of Friday’s audience, according to exit poling service CinemaScore. That’s unusual for a superhero film.” 

Who knew? Young girls would rather identify with sexy and funny characters doing cool stuff, than with a herd of Bitchapotamus with permanent PMT.

BTW, that's for a movie that has suffered one of the most absurd post-production butcherings in movie history, with the studio trying to edit what was filmed as a darker alternative to the Avengers into a Deadpool style comedy (see the change in the tone of the trailers here).

Failure to ram Ghostbusters down the public's throat showed that SJWs could no longer hector the public into leaving the house and paying £12 for a movie, but Suicide Squad is an even bigger defeat for them. It shows they can't even sell people on staying at home.

Much has been said about police in Shottingham deciding to abandon (not) dealing with real crime and starting a war on bad game, but there's a deeper point here. Consider that all this has been driven by something called 'Nottingham Women's Centre'. How does that work exactly?

To put it another way, if you took a woman's football team, then out of the 11 players only.... actually, all of them would be feminists. Forget that. They think a guy chatting up a girl is outrageously outrageous because everything men do is outrageous. It's the feminist version of Schrodinger's Cat: it can be both alive or dead but it's always sexist.

Apparently, none of the bad stuff was down to her, but no one can say what she was responsible for. There was the feminazi lunacy like the 'flash rape', but for the rest? Don't ask the MSM: she's totally brilliant, that's all you need to know.

Still, at least the establishment got their girl Theresa over the line, so it looks like the only real change in politics is that we've gone from a PM who was the embodiment of everything MSM journalists would like to be, to a PM who is the embodiment of what they really are. Fat Dave, with his blue blood, family fortune and breezy savoir faire was everything MSM journalists value (thus summing up why you should never trust the MSM to pick a PM), while his replacement is a preachy insular middlewit indistinguishable from any of the two bazillion wimminz writing columns on 'how cheese is sexist'.

Some say this is the Major Years Part II. We should be so lucky - at least the music was OK then. As it is, Theresa May is David Cameron's firm principles mixed with Gordon Brown's charm and personality, but even that's not all of it. The MSM keeps telling us she's a hugely experienced and skilled leader but everyone in Realville can see an uninspired plodding hack with a bunch of red flags: she's the Roy Hodgson of politics.

The Daily Caller interviews the guy behind the Conservative Pundit twitter account and - spoiler alert - he sums up what's wrong with modern politics far better than approximately 1 bazillion National Review or Spectator articles.

It's all good, but how about this on just why Professional Conservatives always seen like they're passing razor blades when called upon to actually defend conservatism:

The contemporary conservative pundit is in a precarious position. On the one hand, he agrees with his liberal friends that the United States prior to, say, the 1960s was a frightfully bigoted and hateful place, full of all sorts of phobias and -isms and other such indefensible attitudes. On the other hand, he wants his liberal friends to respect the political and cultural principles we’ve inherited from that evil and benighted past. It’s a weak position, and I don’t think many people besides other professional conservative pundits find it very compelling.

Exactly. Hence why The Donald's jibe about 'low energy' was so deadly. At least the left is going for the big stuff, the stuff they need to 'fundamentally transform' the world, as a famous Kenyan American once said. Professional Conservatives concede all they key issues to leftists but then try to quibble about the exact terms of the surrender.

A 59-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder in May 2014 and was later released from bail and a 46-year-old man was arrested in July 2014 on suspicion of perverting the course of justice. He was later released without charge.

Fortunately, lessons were learned and from that day forward the police resolved only to move when they had real evidence of guilt.

Bear in mind that by spreading things out over months the filth has ensured that each of these guys has been left with five figure legal bills. They'll also have had their houses turned over - almost literally in fact as this exert from 2010 shows:

Two days! Either this guy lives in a palace or he got the full 'Lord Bramhall' treatment, aka Smear Theater. In fact, the police claimed to have carried out 1,270 searches of properties in the first months alone. That's not an investigation, that's carpet bombing. Who in their right mind would risk getting tangled up with these guys, when there's a good chance that you'll get your place trashed, your reputation destroyed and a legal bill for £30,000+ once they begrudgingly let your bail lapse after six months?

Of course, who knows what the truth is? They could still get a suspect to court one day, but one thing is certain: when they do, the defense will be sure to point out that these guys do seem quite happy to fixate on literally any guy they think they might be able to stick this thing on, irrespective of such squaresville considerations as 'evidence' and the like.

Yeah, yeah, he knows what you people are like: without the guidance of Snootly T Snootlington you morons would be busy reading books with actual plots, believable dialog and likeable characters, instead of books that have a dragon on the cover, but turn out to be ham handed allegories for transgenderism.

While Amazon is accused of introducing people to books they might like, liberals are stopping books being produced in the first place. That's what happens when publishers get colonised by Social Justice Warriors. The agenda has to be shoehorned into everything, no matter how absurd that makes the story. Hence why novels set in the Napoleonic wars always include a female character who can take down six of the Imperial Guard while armed only with a teaspoon.

What the success of self-publishing proves is that a lot of the big publisher's potential customers are saying stop right there: a story where six guys sit round talking about how cool it is being gay is not science fiction, even if they are on a space station.

When I heard a top acadmic had insulted half the country I was a little surprised, then I thought 'wait...34% voting Tory and 14% UKIP, half sounds about right after all', but no: it turned out that Professor Hunt's crime was to blaspheme the Sacred Femme.

The Conservative Woman says what needs to be said, and what's more they get the point about what it reveals about the hollowness of the Tory Party, but there's a flipside to this. Consider what it says about British science.

 In so far as not a single member of the 'scientific community' felt that the public lynching of a bona fide expert in his field might be going a little too far - and even now his defenders aren't quibbling with the lynching in principle, just claiming that he didn't exactly say what people think he said - these people should probably stop claiming to support diversity.

Ditto, they should also stop pretending to be mystified why conservatives don't trust them. Not only is there the obvious point of just how warm we in the 48% are supposed to feel about folks operating a de facto 'no conservatives need apply' policy, but there's what it reveals about the reliability of their results. These guys claim to be disinterested seekers after truth, but how does that mesh with recruitment policies that leave half the country on the curb? Are they really claiming that there are conservative pilots, conservative engineers and conservative programmers, but when it comes to the science, there's not a single competent conservative scientist in the whole country? Millions of conservatives in the country but apparently they can't find one who's good enough to join their little club. Right there, before they've even done a stroke of work, they've shown they're prepared to skew their results to fit a political agenda ('no rightists') but we're meant to trust them when they say if we don't surrender to the UN, the Earth will be a ball of fire?

Actually, the polls have only just closed and I have no idea what's going to happen but I still have a feeling that in the long term, it might just turn out that the most important political story of last month didn't involve any actual politicians.

As some of you will know, Social Justice Warriors have had a recent meltdown about a company in London that put an attractive woman on some posters and.... actually, that was it, that's what tipped them over the edge: a hot babe. So naturally the company concerned backed down and apologised, then hired some of these mutants to run sensitivity seminars, except not really. Instead they did something else, something magical.

Yes, indeed: a tiny company did the left more damage in a couple of weeks than our nation's Professional Conservatives have done in a year. They've not only shown how easy it is to just tell these people to shove it, but by refusing to back down they've forced the SJWs to try and come up with actual arguments to support their goofy positions... thereby laying bare just how absurd their philosophy really is.

In fact, these guys managed to work out something that's evaded our allegedly brilliant Tory Party. A bunch of fatties threatening to boycott a health company? Isn't that kind of like rabbis boycotting bacon? More to the point though, not only is there no actual downside to alienating people who hate you anyway, people who do share your values will be drawn to your cause. Hence why these guys are rolling in cash.

It turns out that not only is the left's supposed domination of pop culture a myth, but plenty of people were just waiting for the chance to give SJWs the finger.

I was going to write something about the sheer inadequacy of the Tory approach to dealing with Britain's problems but I can't improve on this.

 Then I thought I'd write a little about how 'tactical' voting always leads, sooner or later, to strategic defeat but then I saw this.

Both too good not to read in full, but the deeper question is how the Hell did we get here anyway? US blogger Ace puts his finger on it:

This is about, specifically, the careerist, cowardly, go-along-to-get-along mores of the Upper Middle Class, the class of people whose parents were all college educated, and of course are college educated themselves; the class that dominates our thought-transmitting institutions (because non-college educated people are more of less shut out of this industry)...

This is why we have no actual conservative movement worth a damn: Because our political officers and our thought leaders are all drawn from, and aspire to advance in, the same Upper Middle Class Northeast-and-California cultural consensus of "respectability."

True, he's technically speaking about the narrow question of whether or not people deserve to murdered for drawing cartoons, but it still holds true generally.

I can believe that a lot of Professional Conservatives in Britain can see the damage the left has done to this country, but they still can't bring themselves to do anything about it if that would mean risking the loss of those super-exclusive dinner party invites, let alone letting people who don't even get invited in the first place get their grubby hands on the levers of power (i.e. UKIP).

Maybe Marx said that. Maybe I did. I don't know. But I do believe it. I believe that far too many ideas we have are non-ideas, things we've never actually thought through, but are simply Class Assumptions, and that we are all too afraid to go against our herd, our tribe, and start questioning some goddamned Class Assumptions.

A lot of people in Britain have got to ditch the idea that the Tories represent people like them. It's easy to mock people who vote Labour because their dad did and their grandad before them, but large parts of the right aren't much different. People seriously need to ask themselves when was the last time the conservatives did something that seriously struck back at the liberal consensus - I'm guessing not since 1990.

In so far as there are any excuses for modern conservatism, they rest on their supposed economic competence. Never mind how dubious that claim is, there's the wider issue. When it comes to life as it's lived by real people the Tories have all but announced that the left can do what they want, and if you don't like it, you're probably racist or summink. They're betting the ballot fodder will keep voting for them no matter what. History will show whether they're right or not.

About That Wasted Vote Thing...

Remember, waste a vote on UKIP and you might end up with a government that appoints leftist culture warriors to key jobs.

At risk of stating the obvious - obvious to anyone except our nation's professional conservatives anyway - this isn't a minor matter. The Press Regulator is in a position to help choke off debate on any topic liberals find unhelpful. Anyone think guys like this are going to be supportive of the paper that breaks news of the next Rotherham?

This is the perfect example of how the excuses for Cameronism rely on completely inverting cause and effect. What This Election Is Really About: UKIP Vs TVP

Hey, it's great to be back! I've been tied up these past few weeks working with Thames Valley Police's Hypothetical Crimes Division. All their cops were busy dealing with non-existent hit & runs, so I had to pitch in to help investigate the theoretical case of an 80 year old widow who would totally have been tortured to death by home invaders while the police were too busy shaking down motorists to respond. If this case had actually happened then the gang concerned could potentially have been very dangerous, but fortunately there's now a reciprocal arrangement in place whereby the police raise revenue and HMRC provide a SWAT team so you can rest assured your government is right on top of all forms of speculative homicide.

No, just kidding! There's nothing theoretical about Thames Valley Police prioritising shaking down drivers while letting serious criminals run free.

When it all comes down to it, that's what this election is really about. We've had a nominal Conservative in No 10 for five years and we've still got Socialist Workers in uniform strutting round shouting 'Oh, I suppose you want to murder children do you, Adolf Businessman? Right? RIGHT'?

Meanwhile, mention the Molesters of No Appearance and these guys suddenly turn into Nuance Squad. They take out an onion for pretendey deaths on the road, but real kids being molested? That's a toughey. Who's to say? We'll get back to you on that.... sometime.

Just on it's own all this would be an indictment of the legacy parties, but there's a bigger issue here. No one voted to pay SJW tossers in uniform to campaign - in both senses of the word - against motorists, and we certainly didn't vote to redraw the law on rape. It was the left's Common Purpose cultists in uniform who did all that, just like their fellow travelers in the rest of the public services have pushed the left's agenda in their jobs, and they'll keep doing it until they're stopped. Right now only one party out there that is promising to do anything about rooting them out and restoring actual accountability to the public services. When these guys talk about political parties, they mean they should be run as though they were an actual party, a chintzy soiree in North London full of dreadfully witty luvvies, with the only normal people there either serving drinks or kept in a glass display case in the centre of the room.

It's not as if they can claim this guy isn't a total insider either - just in case the absence of any of the standard girly outrage from the usual suspects didn't tip you off. This is what they really believe.

This has always been the enormous black hole at the heart of the Scottish 'No' campaign. Like this guy says, we've had a campaign supporting Britain run by people that don't actually like Britain. He's right that the left doesn't like Britain but the Parris wing of the right doesn't actually like the British.

All the things that make Britain great are things the left opposes. Maybe the Scottish Referendum wasn't the best place to point out that 'An Englishman's home is his castle' but the underlying point gets to the heart of it all. The left is much more comfortable with Continental style government, where the citizens are subject to the whims of a permanent ruling class.

What made Britain great was that the citizens were free to pursue their lives as they saw fit, secure in the knowledge that neither their liberty nor their property could be arbitrarily seized from them. Equally, if you believe that it is the proper role of government to re-engineer society in pursuit of utopia then then idea of limited government constrained by a strong constitution is a problem for you.

The left's hatred of Britain at least has some kind of intellectual basis to it, repellent as their vision of the citizen as a near-serf is. With the Parris wing of the right it's far more squalid. Even these guys know that you could probably pick names randomly out of the Clacton phone book and still come up with people who could explain conservatism better than any of these frauds. Hence their obsession with Political Correctness aka an ever-expanding list of criteria to distinguish between their own enlightened selves and the mindless barbarians with real jobs.

No, 'Technology' Isn't Killing The MSM....

Is it just me or does it seem like the MSM is more upset about JLaw's nudey photos being hacked than about 1400 rapes in Rotherham?

I don't recommend holding your breath waiting for any MSM articles about how the hacker was clearly disenfranchised by society. Plus the MSM didn't spend a decade claiming that anyone who said there were hackers out there was clearly some kind of technophobic lunatic.

Ace of Spades blog makes an important point here (as well as pointing out another case the MSM is desperate not to report). The repellent thing about the MSM's slippery reporting is not just the point blank refusal to cover certain stories, but all that combined with a determination to ram other stories down our throats as disturbing insights into the dark heart of our society.

The MSM published millions of words of agonised opinionating over whether or not the police were 'insensitive' to the family of Stephen Lawrence, but now we have a case where, amongst other things, evidence in a rape case was lost and the MSM reports that like it's just one of those things. Could happen to anyone. Probably down the back of the sofa. Let's just draw a line under it and move on.
