The Brie Larson Of British Politics

Yes, my friends, it is a blow that our girl Dianne Abbot isn't standing for the Labour leadership, but we're not liberals, we can take the rough with smooth and look on the bright side. Just think about the hole the MSM has now found itself in. MSM poster girl Jess Philips is standing for the leadership and suddenly the MSM is faced with either doubling down on its refusal to actually cover this psycho properly, or alternatively admitting that they've spent years covering for a sleazy snoot in socioeconomic blackface....

Yep, that's Fact Number One that the media never reports: working class heroine Jess Philips is in reality the daughter of a former second in command of the entire NHS. She didn't climb her way up from the streets, she just got the concierge to order the Express Elevator for her.

Her whole CV is like that, but instead of holding her to account, the MSM has actively run interference for her.

Hey, you can't even get anyone in the MSM to ask how that lawsuit is going...

BTW, watch the original footage and decide for yourself if this someone who takes issue like male suicide seriously.

Heartbroken, she is, clearly!

Fortunately, now the spotlight is on her, even the MSM's ability to cover for Princess Fraudypants is breaking down. Take a look at this.

Yep, somehow our savvy watchdog media failed to find anything suspicious in the tortured form of words used on her website or question her constant references to her made up degree. They were probably too busy stalking Youtubers.

All of this does raise a few questions though: firstly, what's the academic equivalent of stolen valour?

Stolen study?

Edufaktion?

Pseudostudies?

Also, how the hell do you fail a degree in public sector management? It's not even a real subject!

There's certainly no evidence of any actual management in the real world public sector. Come to think of it, in so far as she bailed out with the job half done then lied about it to anyone who asked, I'd say she was perfectly qualified for a job in the public sector.

But the real question is this: now she's been exposed as a fraud (again), just how are her friends on the MSM going to spin her as the victim this time?

So Where's Nick On The Chick With A Dick?

Thinking about those last two posts, the thing that really grates about listening to MSM hacks like Nick Robinson babbling about their vitally vital role in holding the people in power to account is that they clearly don't mean it anyway.

Sure, when it comes to wedge issues on the right, they claim it's their sacred duty to speak Truth To Power, but when it's a toughey for the left? Then they're desperate to cover the issue - with a pillow until it stops moving.

Hey, leaving aside Brexit, the one thing that people with real jobs are most steamed up about is garbage like this. So when is Captain Scrutiny going to ask oooh Jeremy Corbyn about this? Or Jo Swinson? Or anyone on the left?

The MSM is super obsessed with, say, Ann Widdicombe's personal views on gays, or what Jacob Rees-Mogg thinks about abortion, even to the point of asking them to answer absurd hypotheticals, but when it comes to actual party leaders and stuff that's happening right now?

Nope, no scrutiny required at all, you guys.

Hey, how about the MSM start hiring people who identify as journalists?

Speaking Truth From Power

Hey, Mail on Sunday: this is not going to go the way you think it will:
Police are examining sickening statements about child abuse made by a highly controversial Ukip candidate.
See, this is the thing: anyone who thinks Mr Plod should be spending his time investigating unregulated joking on Youtube probably isn't going to vote UKIP anyway.

Just a hunch.
Now a senior Ukip source has told The Mail on Sunday that they have passed a dossier to Wiltshire police containing deeply offensive remarks made by Mr Benjamin, an online ‘vlogger’ from Swindon who calls himself ‘Sargon of Akkad’.
A 'senior UKIP source' you guys! I'm assuming this the MoS's usual UKIP source, the famous Russian expat, Sergei Madeitupovitch.
The insider says the dossier was passed to Ukip’s ruling National Executive Council last autumn but no action was taken.
A 'dossier'. For a V-logger on Youtube.

So basically a list of links: that's the 'dossier'.

I don't think jokes should be illegal, but if they are, surely this kind of absurd self-dramatisation should be some kind of felony as well?

One question, Glen Owen of the Mail on Sunday: back when you were an ambitious young journalist, did you dream of the day when you would be breathlessly reporting on lists of Youtube links?
Other material studied by the police include a now-deleted 2015 video showing him repeatedly using the racial slurs ‘n****r’ and ‘sp*c’. He described two people as a ‘fag’ and a ‘retard’, and said it was ‘just f***ing fine’ to call an Asian woman a ‘ch*nk’.
Hey, this 'blogging' thing is going to get a lot easier if we can just randomly snip out words with no context whatsoever. Hey, let's do that right now:
Mail on Sunday journalist Glen Owen has written articles using racial slurs such as ‘n****r’ and ‘ch*nk
Why, oh why, is this racist allowed to write for a national newspaper?

Meanwhile, back in the real world:
[Labour MP Jess] Phillips later responded by suggesting she would take legal action, tweeting: ‘Oh I’ve just watched the clip of Mr Benjamin telling lies on a stage about me, so I think he’ll be hearing from the lawyers. Deary me.’
Y'know, an actual journalist would ask how this lawsuits going. How long does it take to issue a writ anyway?

Call me biased, but I'm thinking allegations that an MP thinks the death of her fellow citizens is a thigh-slapper are a little more serious than some wannabe edgelord making naughty jokes. That goes double if said MP is using bogus threats of lawsuits to try and silence her critics. But reporting on that would involve committing actual journalism, and who needs that?

See, this is the thing: now the public has a real choice. If you're fine with the idea that alleged journalists should trawl Youtube for edgy jokes by uppity outsiders, while refusing to report on serious allegations about members of their little club, then go right ahead and vote for one of the legacy parties. Meanwhile, the rest of us can vote UKIP.

MSM: Who You Gonna Believe, Us Or Your Lying Eyes?

The MSM is outrageously outraged that President Trump retweeted a 'far right group's videos'- which turned out not to be a 'far right group's videos' in the sense of anyone on the far right making a video, but instead that a member of the far right pointed out other people's videos of things that have happened. Or, as we Earthlings call it, 'reporting'.

Literally, that's it. The (mostly mythical) 'far right' - and by extrapolation the President - are being accused by the MSM of passing on footage of stuff that actually happened. Let that sink in.

What does that say about the world view of the modern journalist? They're so deep in the tank that they can't even see that they're admitting they believe in censoring stories that don't support the narrative. Hence why we have absurd circumlocutions like this:
A spokesperson from the Dutch Public Prosecution Service told the BBC that the person arrested for the attaack "was born and raised in the Netherlands" and was not a migrant, as claimed in the social media post.
So does this 'person' have a name? And was he 'born and raised in the Netherlands' like the 7/7 bombers were born and raised in Britain? More to the point, note that the same MSM that is fascinated about where the President's tweets come from has no interest in reporting on the background of a violent thug. They're not speaking truth to power, they're speaking truth from power. Now shut up and drink the kool aid!

Say, Does Anyone Know What Colour Hair The Oslo Attacker Had?

I don't know, but I kind of get the feeling the media is trying to make some kind of point when they keep telling us the attacker was a blonde. Are they trying to tell us that there's some kind of non-blonde terrorists out there?

Hey, and after all those years of liberals telling us there was no point profiling airline passengers...

It's A Good Job The Dave Has Rooted Out All The Extremists

Another entry in the bulging 'I'll take liberal claims to oppose extremism seriously once they start opposing actual extremists' file. Apparently, talking about stuff you actually experienced in the Army is unacceptable, but talking about how proud you are of your racist thug sons is perfectly understandable.
