So, 'Dunkirk' wasn't
that bad after all.
John Keegan liked it too. Certainly made a change compared with the BBC's usual output. So, I only have two things to say. Firstly,
this is a really great book on Dunkirk (and seems to have inspired much of Part III). Second, given how often (and how long) we heard about 'Blue Planet', anyone prepared to bet how often the Beeb Kool Aid drinkers will cite 'Dunkirk' in the next year as an example of why the BBC reporting that Howard eats babies or hiring Jordan on a £5 million contract does
not mean that it needs privatising pronto ?
