What are the odds, huh? In all the diverse workforce employed by the World's Greatest Broadcaster, there apparently wasn't a single person to point out that these guys may not the best choice as victims of the dreaded Toricutz.

Ahhh, this was doing the rounds of Twitter yesterday, and of course the Left were up in arms, either denouncing the BBC as 'Tory cuts backers' (?) or desperately trying to defend this as 'well, they are allowed some comforts, aren't they, you heartless fiends?'..
Julian Joyce is either a fiendishly clever Tory or a quite exceptionally foolish liberal. I honestly can't work out which it is.
Smoking 200 fags a week is evil unless the smoker gets them free from taxpayers.
