That's not it though. It's that every hack MSM columnist in the country would be claiming it was a victory for rugby-related values (and not rugby league either). I don't think we need any lessons on patriotism from folks incapable of interpreting national success as anything more elevated than a chance to wage civil war.So if there's one thing to lighten the gloom, it's the thought of thousands of smug, snooty articles being deleted over the weekend.
